    GPS Mount on RXP-X

    I put a RAM mount on my RXP-X See what you think. Hood Clears opening and closing all good and can still read display while sitting.

    I have the same unit as Beachbums, but velcro'ed to the glove box cover. I DO like the mount though!

    you guys can get the glove box cover that has the space to snap in the GPS.
    just need to order a cover from whatever limeted model came with GPS...

    IMO, the glove box SUCKS!!! I do not like looking down below the handle bars for my speed or the map. Mounted above the handlebars is the way to go.

    Why not just get the Forerunner 201 and wear it on your wrist like I do?

    I am getting one Just for speed reasons. But my H20C From Lowerance is great. When I want to explore. That thing with the Nav chip in it is the Shit.

    Yea I had seen someone else on here that has one on there X boat. I liked it. I will use it when making speed runs whats great about that RAM mount is when I am not using it all I have to do is twist knob and pull off. I liked it for that reason mostly.

    I put mine on the hool right above the left side mirror. Will take a pic when i get home tonight. It is mounted with a Ram mount... cannot beat their mounts.
