    Redneck Exhaust Mod!

ok well i no i might take some crap for this but this is a mod a did to my raider instead of ordering ANOTHER hose from a venture.I originally order a exhaust hose that would allow me to get rid of the right side waterbox and it came and was from a 700 instead of a 1100
so instead of having to ship it back and pay even more for the bigger hose i did this.....

I run pvc in my jetboat to do away with the stock mufflers, behind the waterbox, it causes all kinds of problems with bogging but all is good now

so are you saying that you had problems with teh pvc making it bog or the stock muffler doing that

Sorry, Those dumb mufflers would fill with water and you would have to baby the motor to get it to clear out, with the pvc its a straight dump out the back and didnt make that much of a difference for noise in my opinion, but what can you really hear at 7k rpms? I run it on twin 1200 pv motors on my yamaha jetboat

they do purr throught the powerband I was forced into the pvc mod, dewinterized the boat and took it to the lake first 30 seconds on the water it died, limped back to shore to find this so I went down to hardware store and bought about 20 dollars worth of goodies and trashed the old stuff. I had planned on doing it before the winter but the old saying don't mess with it if it aint broke came to mind so I decided against it, little did I know they would break sometime during the winter.

alot of the guys said that you would have a little better bottom end as well but I can't say I noticed any difference in anything
