    Shimming my rideplate

I just ordered a R&D Rideplate from islandracing. I was told that I can make even more speed by 'shimming' my rideplate. How do I do this?

put 2 washers under the front bolts to lower the plate in the front but MAKE SURE not to let it hang below the hull/pump shoe. by doing this you increase the angle of the plate and get more of the hull out of the water..less drag=more speed.

Ive looked. It gets kinda annoying when someone asks something and the only responce someone gets is "Use the search bar". I understand its kind of annoying with people asking so many questions, but if you can take the time to tell someone to look under the search bar im sure you could find time to answer there question.

Thanks anyway, someone was nice enough to answer my question.

You can get Yami SS slotted motor shims in 10 packs pretty cheap. It makes it very easy to adjust the rear height of the plate without having to take the bolts all the way out.

    32 EU0-U7354-00-01 SHIM (0.1) [EU0-67354-00-01] $5.22 10
    32 EU0-U7354-00-03 SHIM (0.3) [EU0-67354-00-03] $5.31 10
    32 EU0-U7354-00-05 SHIM (0.5) [EU0-67354-00-05] $5.00 10
    32 EU0-U7354-00-10 SHIM (1.0) [EU0-67354-00-10] $6.25 10
    32 EU0-U7354-00-20 SHIM (2.0) [EU0-67354-00-20] $7.35 10
