RUBBER SHAFT COUPLING needs replaced?
I am replacing the engine in my 99 GP1200 and in pulling the old one out discovered that the rubber shaft coupling that goes between the crank coupler and the shaft is missing a couple of the smaller "fingers" (item 30 in the drawing)
Not the big ones, but the small ones. Should I replace it or not. I have no idea how long they have been missing, as it was rebuilt last spring and ridden all summer long without seeming to miss them...
Thanks. And if it should be replaced, anyone have one?
