Modifed Riva Plate and TBM Steering help.

Two questions, can anyone help me with either:

    1. Has anyone had their Riva 250x plate modified by Jim's Performance? If so what if any advantages were there for 195.00?

    2. Has anyone installed the TBM top end steering forks (-bearing assy.) with the short forks? Can you post pics? I have a the stock setup, but it feels loose and not upto par with what I think it should be so I'd like to replace it.

    TBM Steering

I have the entire TBM setup - Base Assy, Forks (Riser Bars), Star Bar, Billet Throttle and ODI Grips. Much better than stock...
Similar to your situation, I always felt the stock steering system
    was poor quality

TBM system - very well made/ high quality fit and finish
    (you get what pay for)
I felt the Riser Bars were 'too high'...so I had a local machine shop cut them down about two inches (lathe required to do it properly)
TBM has developed an even shorter set of Risers...for CC racing, but I felt those would be too short...so I opted to remove two inches from standard Risers...which seems perfect for me

    Sorry - no pics....

Yeah the setup I was actually looking for was the CC setup. Not for racing, but for sturdy design. I would prefer the lower profile over the high bars. I'm not that tall and I'm young enough to bend a little when standing during ocean/bay riding.

Has anyone modded the Riva plate at all? I know it's like riding on a rail when up in speed and on plane, but what has anyone done to possibly correct that? I know everone with the riva plate knows what i'm talking about!!!
