Riva and RR Thru Hull Questions
Riva has water that enters the end of the exhaust. Does this help dampen the sound over the RR ?
Riva is plastic. Is the temperature of the Riva tube cool to the touch after riding. Would a RR exhaust with thermal exhaust wrap be cooler than the Riva plastic with no wrap. Has anyone had the Riva melt?
Any other differences ?

i ran riva exhaust with no problems.
i can touch that pipe immediately after rdiing WOT for an hour straight no problem.
i capped off the water injection fitting on the riva pipe and left all the waterlines in their stock locations. on the 3-seaters it's not neccessary to move the waterlines if u cap it off. the RXPs are a little different, but they also can be run the same way if you change the T fittings off the exhaust manifold

go with the metal type i know some guys on this forum are changing their plastic to the metal type.
ppg also has a metal type thru hull ceramic chromed black.
i personally like the RR style seen all three in the skis.
