    Oil Pre-mix suggestions

I have a GP-1200R (2002) which is basically stock with a few bolt on mods, such as Island Racing carbon reed kit, Riva free-flow exhaust, and Riva stack filters on the carbs.
I am running 36 to 1 premix using Maxima Castor 927. The plugs are NGK BR7ES. It loads up when doing much idling or low speed running.

The question is, Can I lean out the oil mix a little to 40 to 1 with this oil, and still be safe on the high rpm running?????

    Yes.
I have a long list of mods on mine and have always ran 40:1 with no problems.

Thanks for all the advice !!

I will move the mix to 40 to 1 and try the plug reccomendation also.
This bike is awsome on top end but is a little slow out of the hole. I could also use some suggestions on what brand of water box mods to help the hole shot.

I am in southeast Texas, so I am close enough to WFO to take advantages of a little help of their services. I have heard many good things about your operation.

Thanks again for all the replys.
