    750 cylinder install

    Took my 93 sl750 cylinder off now i am going to put it back on i got all new gaskets is there thing special i have to do? Another post said somthing about bolting on the exhaust manifold then tightening down the cylinder to line them up, but the manual dont say anything about that.

    many folks recommend bolting the exhaust on before torquing the bolts down to make sure everything is exactly lined up. That way you dont get an exhaust/water leak

    I always soak the hell out of the rings piston, and cyclinder walls with the two stroke oil, that way it is not starting up dry. make sure you clean all the old gasket surface and that they are 100% clean.
