    O-Rings on the oil filter?

I was told that there were 3 o-rings in here. I can only spot 2 of them?

I got a small one underneath the torx bit bolt and one under the main cover at the top thats about 2.5 inches in diameter.
Where is the other one at? I cant see it at all.

There are 2 orings on the cap. One fits in the cap groove and the other goes around the rim of the lid which is much thinner than the one in the groove.

DeeGee: I`m not sure which part numbers are for what o-rings, but here they are plus the oil filter part number.

    Oil Filter - 420956741
    O-Ring - 420850500
    O-Ring - 420230920
    O-Ring - 420950860

I usually buy 2 sets of everything for the season. Let me know if you have a hard time getting them in your area...PR...

Your not an idiot, you did like most of us "tighten till it breaks and back it off a quarter turn"

Lakview parts was always good, see if you can get the metal cap
