    787 Oil Pump Adjustment

I've got some questions about adjusting the oil pump on a 787 carb engine and the manual is not clear to me ,I have ajusted the oil pumps on the smaller SD engines that as easy as pulling the trottle open and alining the marks but on theis 787 it seems that the marks only want to aline at idle position? When I pull the trottle open the marks are no longer alined,is this right? Also it says that the" oil pump cable jam and adjuster nuts are located at the cable support bracket on the pto side of the carburater",but we are talking about the smaller cable that goes from the oil pump to the front(mag.) carb right? and the trottle cabe is the long one that goes from the trottle lever to the rear(pto) carb, someone please help me here as you see I need it.I would just block it off and go premix but there are going to be teen girls using it and there is no way to ever get them to mix the oil right for any lenth of time.

yes, the marks should align at idle. can't remember off hand which cable hooks up to which carb but the oil injection cable is the shorter one.

The throttle cable goes to front (mag) carb & oil pump goes to rear (pto) carb.

    They wont work backwards.

All Seadoo oil pumps are set at idle.

Yeah...get a volt meter and check your battery voltage.
