slt750 average top speed
Hey guys, I haven't been able to find this in a search, and it is just a curiosity question. Hope I don't start a big debate here. 94 SLT750, triple outlet fuel pump, premix, engine 2 yrs old, no other mods, all stock... What should the top speed be on average? Dream-o-meter shows anywhere from 38mph-55mph depending how it feels!! . It accelerates great. I will be getting a GPS for Father's Day, and will test it out with this ski. Wife says ski goes fast enough FOR HER, I say, after reading majority of post on this forum, it should perform better. I'm hoping this speed information will assist me in determining if I should perform any other basic changes that are recommended on this site. Piston wash looks good, spark plugs look good when performing the full throttle-yank lanyard test.
As always, Greenhulk is the greatest!!!!

Sean has a 2 seater SL750, just a tad faster than the 3 seater SLT750. I have a SLT780, bored .50 OS w/ boysen reeds. Light chop, half tank of gas, and a 220# rider gets 49.4 on GPS.

our 95 SLT 750 would go about 45. our SLT 780 would go about 46-47mph, with casual increases. I would say your SLT 750 is about a 44-46 mph machine.
