only 2 bars past 7k on a 0815f
im wondering is this normal or should i be pulling a few more bars? the boat itself only has 2-3 hours on it. will it pull a few more bars with more hours on it? i didnt exactly break it in like the manual states but the first hour to 2 hours i didnt make any full throttle passes until it was well over the 2 hour mark. i couldnt resist. i was also only seeing 62 mph on the dreamometer with 3 bars of fuel. i would have thought the number would be higher since my 03stx12f would hit that on empty. im going to check my oil level tomorrow and see where its at. it was also in the mid 90s today here in texas. any response would be appreciated.

with 2-3 hrs, the way i see it the engine is still tight. u should get a bit more speed as hours go by, thats normal. i wouldnt go by the speedo though, more than likely its inaccurate; but either way stock 15f's are only pulling 61-62 mph stock.

it looks like my boat was over filled with oil. im disabled and in a wheelchair so im really not use to checking oil levels in vehicles but it looks as though oil is present all the way to the bend on the dipstick. this was after i hooked it to a water hose and let it run for several minutes and checked the oil. i wish i was nearer to the 10 hour service but im only at 2-3 hours. im thinking ill take to a dealer this week and see if they can take a little out of it. thanks for the response incha.

Make sure the motor is level and you are checking the hot side of the stick if you warmed the motor.
