    Unhappy Update on 1100 teardown

Some of you may recall a thread I started about my motor seizing http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...hlight=seizure

Well it gets better. I just pulled the cylinder and discovered this carnage!!!

I have a cylinder and head on the way to me. Is there any chance that my case sustained any damage. I would really not want to replace it if I don't have to.

How do I remove the coupler without a special tool?

oh that is ugly!! you need to tear it down and clean it up , hopefully it will be fine

you can split the cases and take the crank out and remove the coupler latter

I will wait till I get it out but I hope that I don't need that behemoth of a pipe wrench . I will probably break the case open this afternoon after a few more cold beers
