New guy saying hi!
Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. I just bought my first ski so I'm trying to learn as much as possible about it and meet some of the local people. My name is Roman 23 years old and live in Miami. This is my first ski, its a 2000 Yamaha GP800. I love it, its quick enough for me to cruise around in. I live in NMB, Florida and usually keep the ski in the water. I have rode it maybe a total of 3 times now
Well here is some pictures.
Here is another one of my hobbies. I used to be a big time ricer but kinda grew out of it so my v6 mustang was fast looking. Its now sitting waiting to have a built bullitt motor put in.
Hopefully I can meet some of you guys and gals in the south florida area. I see a lot of skis riding around here. I will be mostly in Halouver beach area.

Thanks Jeff, it seems you have a lot of knowledge of skis. If you could answer this it would be awesome. If I loaded up a jet ski that had a capacity of 352lbs with say 390lbs would it just sink? LOL

Welcome to the site!
Used to swim Haulover...way back in the '60s. I actually remember the Marines dug in there, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Did my surfing down at South Beach, when it was nothing but retirement units for the Snow Birds.
Is Beer Can Island still there???

Thanks man, I will do!
Yeah! It's still there, its usually filled with boats during the weekends, one on top of the other. Watching them anchor in there is crazy, its worse then driving on the Miami streets.
