    took my 785 out today

I took my 97 pro 785 with hotseat pipes ,46 novi's , limited reed tippers , randy cdi, moto marine head , 6 vane with a 11/19 prop and many more goodies . she ran 68.1 at 8000-8020 rpms and i still had more tuning to go but she blew the stub shaft out of it . i'm gonna put a hardened stub shat in and my 7 vane stator and try it again next week

    8020 Rpm

    Bob,
You are telling the truth... Often people post speed numbers that are way off, and arent realistic.. That boat / impeller/ Rpm combination is what I would expect from an EXCELLENT running 785 Pro. If you put a 14 degree wedge, and a stock intake grate you will hit 80Mph.. LOL..
    Good job!
