how hard will it be to install? Not hard if you have mech ability
will it sound really nice?! Sort of like a glass pack muffler
will it be loud? There is a resonance at around 3000-3500 RPM`s
    will it turn some heads?
    Absolutely, maybe even the SP

Can it be returned to stock if your Dad doesn`t like it?
It all depends on how you remove the stock resonator, some cut it out with a sawzall, some take the time to remove the VTS with the proper tool.

We are talking about the Rotax free flow and not the thru hull correct?...PR...

You know when you have loud mufflers in a car, and it is more noticeable at certain RPM`s, where it is so loud and that it echoes inside the car, to the extent that it is annoying and rattles your brainbox? That`s sort of what it sounds like at those RPM`s.

You remove the stock resonator/baffle (big plastic thing) looks like straight plastic tube attached to big plastic chamber at the side, then just install the straight Rotax racing tube. (there is a bolt that holds it down to the ski inner hull bottom)
Some say it is a biotch to remove resonator without first removing the VTS, so they take a sawzall and cut along side the straight plastic tube (stock) and take it out in pieces.
Hopefully someone here can give you precise instructions...PR...
