    Question for Seadoo 3D Owners

I am trying to retrofit my 2005 Seadoo 3d with a SHOQ pole and Kart seat. I already have the seat and pole, however, they did not come with hardware. I need to purchase the hardware. I am trying to understand what parts I need prior to ordering. My questions are mostly around the SHOQ pole.

    1) Does the upper pin of the shoq pole attach into the handlebar hold-down braket?

    2) The base of the shoq pole appears to mount on the same location that the hold down mounts too. I currently have a metal ring, but there is a plastic piece that prevents latching to the ring. Is there a different part number assembly to get on this or does the plastic part simply remove?

That lower mount is called the "pole hook". Seems to be standard for multiple years (metal d-ring and plastic cover), however, I cannot get the lower shoc to hook into the plastic part.
