    15F's speed and agility

I bought a pair of STX-15F's last year. We have about 20 hours on each. I rode my wife's for the first time this weekend. Her's was felt a WHOLE lot lighter, quicker, and turned much tighter than mine. They are the same year, same model, same dealer... Why do you think that is? Both crafts are stock with no modifications...

well from the "quicker" aspect, yours may have had something sucked up, through the pump, scratching the pump and possibly damaging the impeller, thus causing a loss of speed and an increase of cavitation.

That's the thing, my wife's is the one with the dinged impeller from sucking up a rock. You'd figure her's would have the decreased performance... My pump is undamaged

the cheapest performance mod, go out and suck up some rocks. haha that makes me sick just thinking about it.

Check all your cables, make sure they're all lubed up, not frayed. check ur oil level, skips did a great write up and he suggests running w/ the oil level half way in the hatched area on the dipstick, when the engine is cold.

You know I'm kidding, right... YES, it is a 15F. They are both only a year old with only about 20 hours on them. Everything is lubed up, proper break-in, winterization, etc... Maybe it's just my imagination..
