    Same here

Thinking of going to the open loop cooling and the aggressive open loop plate setup. I heard JD1 mention it was a 4mph gain on a RXP. Did anyone do any testing on the X yet?

Its a great mod if you can stop the coolant leak in the modded ride plate. I lose a quart of coolant every two hours of ride time. I am not to excited about pulling the ride plate off again. This is my first mention of it since I installed it.

so sundancer you have installed the rideplate on a X. cause i thought the fittings for the grate were different? so you gave your plate to jim and he did it ?? with skegs??? what were the gains besides filling up with new coolant??
i am interested in the closed loop. does open loop colling have a more aggresive angle due to be able to machine off more of the plate??
