Did you notice a difference when you removed the flame arrestor?

I saw absolutely no gain at all by replacing factory air intake flange w/ the filter kit... and I did several back to back tests w/ GPS.

Average of 73.5 mph @ 8060-8080 rpm (1/3 fuel in summer heat) w/ Riva Wedge, Riva 3" air, R&D grate, ride plate holes filled, pump shoe drilled.

75.5 @ 7980-8000 w/ addition of Riva reduction nozzle w/ 82mm ring. (but acceleration was degraded too much for my liking).

I had posted better numbers before the heat came.

I keep seeing people post 8160 type rpm's what is the rev limiter on the P-X? I thought it was 8100? Mine is bone stock at the moment, hits 68-69ish at around 8060. Oh yeah, I'm 155lbs 85deg air, 75deg water, saw 10.5psi on the boost gauge, altitude no idea.

    Free MODS:
    no front bucket
exhaust baffle deleted (waterbox out hose to exhaust tip)
custom intake (took rear 4inch air tube piped to nose of ski with 3" stock elbow to 3" alum pipe into 4" tube in nose" haha! Yes its ghetto, I know.
    trimmed reverse bucket lip.

    Uninstalled Mods:
    R&D intake grate
    15/22 prop
    adjustable venturi nozzle
