Still have a problem with my RXP.....
Well I thought I had a bad battery but I guess I was wrong. Went to start the ski this weekend after it would not start last weekend. It fired right up. WTF??? Drove the ski around all day and all was good. Went out today and the ski would barely start. Would crank slowly but would not fire. I gave it some gas and it finally started. Do you guys think this is a battery issue? I bought a new battery but didn't have time to install it. What is so weird is the ski would not start last weekend and this weekend it fired right up after sitting on a lift for a week. I'm confused.

so u say u started it this weekend after it would not start up and it started no problem. What were the symptoms last time i guess a week ago when it wouldn't start? i remember u made a post, i jsut forget what u said in it.
if there's one thing i've seen alot of failures on the 04 skis it's the starter relay that's mounted on the side of the MPEM bracket... you get intermittent starting. sometimes a quick turn, sometimes jsut click click, sometimes it starts...
i guess assuming your battery is new and fully functional, check the 3 grounds on the side of the motor, try tripping the starter relay with a screw driver or socket wrench or whatever (dont zap urself) .... maybe u got a flat spot in the starter and that needs replacement

but now the fact that i just re-read that when u applied some throttle it started, that kinda throws me off a little
