    Gtx Blew Up!

Well my free GTX 1997 787 blew up on me after tearing it down looks like one of my friends sucked up sand and it cracked the piston forcing piston peices into the HEAD! wow yeah this was really easy to remove.

Anyone got a place i can get parts such as top end kids gaskets or just a full rebuild kit? ill post pics soon.

    Thanks guys

Sorry to hear... check out ebay they have full rebuild kits for not that bad of prices. The 2 stroke rotax are easy to work on.. also do urself a favor if the oil injection is still on the ski block it off and go pre mix.. good luck..

I'd get a Rotax reman from a local dealer. Only a couple hundred more (when I last priced one), brand-new OEM pistons and sleeves (stock bore), and all Rotax parts. SBT bores theirs 1 mm over, mills the head, and if you ever want to mod the engine by adding a pipe it won't stay together. Just food for thought.

seadootech also sells engines a lil cheaper than SBT . I dont know if they are any good or better than SBT. I am trying to decide on witch co. to buy from myself, i just blew one of my 787's.
