    X S/C Failure on a 2007 RXT

What are the chances of Seadoo backing their OEM X S/C on my 2007 RXT? I had what I believe is a bearing failure, we'll find out tomorrow, but something on the S/C has definitely failed. Is there any individual part coverage or is this wishful thinking (probably)?

I'd say no on the warranty coverage. Your only chance would be if you bought from a dealer and they installed it.

I didn't think so...it was bought from Jerry's online store, installed by the dealer.

i swear they do this on purpose, why dont they just go with the proven non coated metal washers and use ceramic bearings for christ sakes....it's not like the price difference would be that much

Well I got some good news today, it's not the S/C!!! Much to my, and my mechanic's surprise, we opened the ski up and the whole thing was intact without a scratch. The ski engine is miss-firing, I assume from water intrusion? I hope this means I'll be out on the water a little sooner!

Good deal. Ive got no problems with mine at all. Im just gonna get rid of those washers and throw in some good bearings.
