Want to guess what broke ????

    Today on an 06 RXP running 73.5 mph at 8,040 rpm's .
Stopped running just like you pulled the key off.
No drop in rpm's , no flutter , no vibration , no nothing.
Tried to start it up and only the starter will spin , engine will not turn over.

OK, whats your guess on what let go ?

that could be anything from a leg out of bed to a chain issue

pull the valve cover off and make sure you didn't break the timing chain.

Chain is my thought Jerry but it gave up so quick with no noise what so ever. Is that normal on a chain break to be such a fast shut down with no noise ?

Yep, the engine just comes to a quiet stop.

Hope you didn't break the chain but it sure sounds like it.
