    What could be wrong...water ingestion?

Playing around with my PPG magic fan equipped RXP. Had the trim all the way done and did about 4 tight 360's with some water cascading over the front hood. Then almost immediately it started acting like the TIPS was engaged and couldn't get it to above 2500 w/o it acting like the TIPS was activated (best way to describe - like limp mode). I was close to the dock and just parked it and put away for the night. Barely any water in the engine compartment...could this be water ingestion? What are the signs?

I doubt it. It sounds like your TOPS sensor.

TOPS...well TIPS sounded a little more drunk. I'll fire her up later this afternoon.

you could try bypassing the tops mercury switch and see if that solves your problem.

Jarrett had the exact same thing happen to him. He ran it afterwards for a few minutes and the problem went away. It was weird, but has never happened again.

Ski is still sitting on the dock - wife says I should spend time with the family, so I'll get out this afternoon and see if she's still hiccupping.
