What A Bunch Of Crap
BOUGHT A XL 800 TO SELL FROM A LOCAL DEALER. THEY SAID IT NEEDED CARB WORK. STARTED TO PULL OFF THE CARBS, GOT THE 4 10MM BOLTS OFF THE CARBS AND SAID WHY ARENT THESE'S ****IN THINGS COMING OFF. THEN REALIZED THAT THE DIPDONGS WHO MADE THE SKI ALSO PUT BOLTS IN FROM BEHIND. WTF. SO THE LAZY WAY IN ME PULLED OF THE FUEL PUMP AND THE LITTLE FILTER INSIDE WAS FILLED TO THE TOP WITH YAMAHA GREASE. WTF. SO NO I NEED TO FIND AWAY TO PULL OFF THE OTHER SIDE TO CHECK AND SEE IF IT'S THE SAME WAY. WHAT A RETARTED SETUP. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.

those carbs should come of with 6 10mm. There is a manifold plate behind them as well and it should come off as all one unit with the plate.Thats the easiest way to get the rack off. If you need help with them let me know I am a wiz on the 66E's.
