Riva Sponsons - ease of installation
Looking to put some sponsons on the ole' RXP. Accessing the inside of the hull area, is it pretty easy to get to all the bolts or are there some things that you need to remove (Other than the seat support), to get good access...........
Also, are the OEM sponsons easy to get off with the same concerns as above?

on my 05 I just removed the stock, trimmed the glue and turned the bolts slightly (so they would fit the riva back plates) and put the riva ones on. You don't even have to remove the seat.

same for me, I also have an 05, but for the 04 models i believe you may need to access the inside of the hull.

Thanks Lurker, I appreciate the feedback.........
After I made this thread, I went to the Riva site and looked at the instructions (If all else fails), and noticed that there was no need to get inside the hull at all......
I assumed that there was a nut inside the hull that you had to hold onto......

I put the Riva's on my 04 RXP. It is a very similar procedure to the 05. You do not need to get at the inside at all. Very easy. Go for it.
