    Talking Same Piston Same sleeve

Can any one tell me what is the reason that same piston must go back into the same sleeve when you reassemble the motor.

I accidentally mix them up and do not know which one go in which one I am going to hone the sleeves and put new rings on will it be a big issue?

If you're talking about the one's I sold you, they're marked "C" "M" and "P" on the tops of the pistons and on the upper edge of the cylinders.
