    wait... whats this

am i blind? or is this new?
the r&d c3 monster charger wheel.........
now I have been looking to do the washers, bearings, and a new sc impeller. I was pretty much set on the greenwheel. Although now i saw this. looks like more boost and more volume of air. plus the c3 will work with stock injectors, ecu, and intercooler.

Could this be the best drop in impeller there is?(thats what im looking for....... )

not sure if its new but definately caught a few peoples attention. i think its the new way to go but remember that you will need an external I/C to cool all that hot air.

btw monster wheels will be coming out for the X boats aswell

it says you dont need anything for the c3. The 4 you need the new I/c

It depends on your altitude/density altitude. I think those "drop ins'" were designed for somebody in Denver to regain sea level performance. I don't know if they're done with the testing on those yet. Might wanna call R&D...I'm kinda curious too. It would be nice to drop in a wheel when its 116deg here and have the boat act likes its at sea level at 60 degs.

Better check that out. With the S3 installation you have to go to 42# injectors and should have external intercooler. I sure would think you would need bigger injectors with the C3 and you probably should consider a 4" intake to supply it.

In the same vein of thopuht with these RD wheels the C5 says 11 psi at 8100 rpm and 13psi at 8500rpm. that appears to be one helluva bargain compared to other SC putting out that much boost. wonder what volume of air the c1-c5 are moving also

The ad says basically each wheel comes with a spec sheet. I wonder if you could get that spec sheet or see those numbers before you bought the wheel???
It would be interesting to compare the volumne of air moved for each wheel, not just boost.
