I am having starting issues with my sl900. I have a brand new battery, and with a full charge, i get a reading of 10.4-10.6v at the battery when starting. I am pretty sure that is too low, and i have tried two seperate batteries. Any ideas whay this is occuring or anything else to check? Maybe i should should try a booster? Is a regular automotive booster too big?

If you're talking something like this, yeah I use them ALL the time.
10.6 measured at the battery while cranking should be enough but try the jumper and see how you fare.
If you still get no spark, test the stator.

Clean and check them all, especially both ends of the positive cable from the battery to the starter solenoid.
