    piston ring broke

i believe my '02 Sea Doo GTX Di has broken a piston ring. i've been told it still has decent compression and it goes to 46mph quickly. my question is do i have replace both pistons? if the cylinder wall isn't messed up may i just replace the piston ring? what is the cheapest way to fix this?

cheapest way is new rings, with a cylinder hone. only if the pistons, pin and cylinders are in good condition. replace both at the same time as well. and check the crank while its apart.
