    Possible bent compressor shaft

I have a buddy who just bought a "slightly used" Stock SC for his 06 RXP. This one had brand new Metals in it and he is to install the GreenWheel. We looked at the Drive gear when it spins and it looks like there is a slight wobble.

Could it be the shaft is bent or something else that could cause the Drive gear to not spin true. Or is it not a problem at all.

We are thinking with even an ever so slight wobble damage coud occur.

We are going to have a trained eye look at it and see what they thought, but thought I would ask here if anyone else ran across something like this.

I'm pretty sure you DON'T want a wobble, especially at those RPM's..Check your SC shaft bearings..

The only other thing I can think of that would cause it to wobble would be if they didn't put all of the needle bearings in when they replaced the washers The needle bearings are between the gear and the shaft. If it is just the drive gear wobbling and you dont see the wobble at the end of the shaft were the nut is then I would say this is your problem.

Bearings not pressed in correctly. Send it to Jerry for the wheel install and let him reinstall/replace the bearings and inspect the unit.
