4 inch in take hose smooth wall

During the installation of the new equipment I came across the hose the contractors were using for the exhaust.

I was shocked at how smooth the inside of the hose was.

Anyone know if this hose would work for the intake?

Wow! Looks good...will stand up to 500 degrees. I bet it would work fine. Looks like it bends to 90's easily. Don't like the color but looks efficient. How much does it cost?? Look like it's in 10 ft sections.

Why 500 degrees? Kanaflex 620wd is rated for 220 max

I can assure you it aint cheap. I have submitted an email to the distributor.

I had some hose that Kanaflex designed specifically for a company. The hose needed to hold shape while cotton threads were vacuumed through it from one machine to the next and the air was superheated. The normal stuff was collapsing and fibers were becoming clogged on the seams inside the hose. The stuff I had was like $12 a foot.

This seems to be the way to go and even with the IC in the OEM spot on the X this could possibly squeeze in there without having to massage or modify hard plastic.
