    Bad Fuel...

My ski will max out at about 30 mph, then get a kick and jump up to 40 mph. My question is, since I accidently filled the tank before putting it away in the winter would the fuel be degraded to a point that the engine doesn't run right?

Possibly, I would just drain it and start with some fresh stuff. What year and model? When draining the tank, take the fuel tube that goes from the tank to the gas cap off. Then drain it straight from the tank. This will allow you to get more fuel out a lot easier.

Thanks fo rhte tip. I will probably do that since I heard running a ski with degraded fuel can damage the engine...

Not so much the engine but can gum up the carbs which will then maybe cause damage to the engine. Nothing worse then spending 120 bucks on some carb rebuilding kits and maybe more to fix a squeeked piston, just because you didnt drain the gas.
