How Much Oil/Triple Bearing Pump
I was woundering what is the correct amount of oil needed in the triple bearing pumps???I have been reading the threads and have been told by some that it is 2oz and some say 3oz... So i was kinda woundering which one it is.. I drained the oil out of mine and had a tick over 3 1/2oz....

I always use 2 oz. I use the Sea Doo pump lube in the 6 oz. bottle. I get 3 changes per bottle. Never had a problem.

Stupid question coming..... Do you have to change the oil/grease in an OEM pump? other than what's in the cone? I know~~shoot me for my stupidity but i recently took over mechanic dutie on my ski cause im tired of paying the man.
Funny thing is my ski got faster?? I know it's not skill..maybe dumb luck!

Thanks Mark...I bought the pump from GPRXP Steve and he used Royal Purple Syn. gear lube so i stayed with what was already in there..I was just couriuos on how much was acually suppost to be in there..
Next question..With 3 1/2oz in there could this have had an effect on the RPMs and speed of the craft..I didnt change anything on the ski except for the pump and i noticed i am down 40-60 Rs and 1 MPH on my 3 blade..

Mmm...not what I'm looking for....no problem changing the grease out in the pump cone...no....I was thinking there's bearings or something before that...where the prop spins...
