Why are you trying to remove it?

I think what Danny is suggesting is, depending on your task, the manifold may be set to the side, or removed altogether. Forum advice and assistance would vary depending on which scenario.

I am trying to decide weather to buy the x-model flame deletion kit or not... I have to remove the manifold to do it... I not sure if it worth all the work... Since I read that there is little to no diffrence in top speed with the kit...

OH, if thats the case, then YEA, pull the manifold...get that flame arrestor OUTTA THERE and get better flow through the manifold....

Pull the TB off (4 bolts)...lay it down.
Unbolt the fuel rail (2 bolts)...
Unplug the ECU (pull power off battery first)...
Undo the bolts to the manifold...
Unclip the MAPS and TEMP sensors...
Jiggle free, have tap standing by to cover intake ports....
