Thread: Nils Superchargers

Nils bought 20 supercharger housings..no doubt for his new supercharger that you are selling through your store. I heard that he is working closely with Vortec on the SC Impeller.
How many will you have for sale, when, and at what cost?
I assume you will be selling this as a kit with injectors and fuel controller?
How much for the kit?
Are you going to have a pre-order list?

On a side note, what ever happend to the belt driven one? Was it abandoned when Rotax offered the Hydralic one?

We aren't sure of cost yet. There will be an endless supply of these. He's initially building 20 of them, but there will be 20 behind that, etc.
The belt driven being dropped has nothing to do with the new RR Hyd. clutch. It's just on the back burner with too many other good things ahead of it

Jerry is Nils Kit going to include both the front and rear housing or just the front like Riva? How many pounds of boost should his kit make?

Its going to be a complete supercharger.
Boost will depend on what air intake you are using.
Those using a front air intake with B kits typically see 12-13 PSI. With my rear air intake i run 14+ and sometimes see 15 PSI

Jerry, With this rear intake setup wouldnt ya have to add heat exit holes somewhere else? I'm assuming you are using the hole under the rear of the seat designed to release heat eh?

Jerry I go to PPG personally every once in a while and we got around to talking about the B kit. They have one of the skis there with it but say it keeps blowing head gaskets have you ever experienced that or have an idea why it might do that? Besides the piggyback you run did you do anything else to the ski to tolerate that much boost because they mentioned its happened on a couple ocassions already.

Last time I spoke to Les's he said they had like 300+ B kits out there.
Riva is doing the same type mod for their Stage III
and Nils is doing the same type thing as well.
Of all these kits there is "one" place having head gasket problems
