    Fuel Seperator

I know this seems like a dumb question, but how do you get fuel seperator off?? I looked in my manual and it said to just grip the bowl and turn it counter clockwise. I did that and the bowl is spinning, but it is not getting any easier to turn...

Does it look like this... If so, turn the black collar around the bowl, and not the bowl.

Yeah that is it, but I still can't turn the black ring!!! Do I have to undo the screws with an allen key before I unscrew anything?

Shouldn't need to remove it. It should break free if you give it enough force. Try a rubber strap wrench.

From the top looking down, you want to turn it clockwise.

Thanks I was wondering why the heck it would not come off. I didn't even think about it being upside down that it would go the other way.
