I am planning on buying an 05 rxp. I get the feeling that these are very high maintnence watercrafts, due to such a high preformance engine. Can u guys give me some info on the rxp.

Go to www.greenhulk.net to get the low-down on what you are pruchasing and what people are doing for mods. Jerry is one of the leaders in RXP "mod-bug itis". Remember- once you catch to bug, its hard on the pocket book!

RXPforMe,the RXP has a 4-stroke engine. It is not hard to maintain at all.You have it serviced after the 10 hour break-in,(follow the break-in recommendations to the letter,by the way),then just follow the manual on your oil-changes,tune-up,winterization,etc. It is actually less trouble than a 2-stroke to maintain.Do a "search" on this forum for some very informative subject matter on "how-to's" and the like, you will find this site very useful.
