    Any idea what caused this?Rod through block picture.

    2005 RXT with 90 hours.
    Riding night got cut short....

    i tell ya man... this it the week of 4-tec carnage!!!

    that's a nice one Rob! sucks, but a good one

    had a customer come in work thursday with 06 rxp... says oil all over the hull and he found this chunk of metal and doesn't know where it came from, maybe it needs to be resealed and that's why it's leaking oil, LOL... he too, lost a rod thru the block.

    several snapped camchains locally and on the forum this week...

    typical blown superchargers and low oil pressure problems...

    SBT and the seadoo rebuild center are in for a good year!

    Except for when you're getting an engine from SBT that already has 10-12% leakdown and they won't take it back until it looks like BOATADDICT's.

    had an 05 rxt do the same thing one rod bolt was bent sitting in the bottom of the motor and the other was snapped in half. had a buddy with the same issue also.

    What kind of mods are we talking about here. Or is the motor stock?

    That is a completly stock 2005 RXT.

    high rpm or piston ring seizure..so it kicked the rod out
