    Which Block Offs

Which ones are better for a RXPX?

The R E ones sold here in Jerry's store or the Riva Competition ones on their site....Just trying to figure out which ones are better or more functional. They appear to be the same? And are very close in price. I have never used either and I have a customer who wants me to install a set.

    Thanks for your input

Overall the RE are the best for both RXP's and RXT's. The RE's work best on the RXP's to keep them from porposing at speed and they look great. I had RE's on my RXT and I liked them but I really did not need them because I could not hit 77+ or so. I sold them and bought the shorty waterbox with the money. I put on the Riva plain OPAS covers and never looked back. If you plan on fully modifying to go really fast for an RXTX then get the RE's, otherwise get the plain Rivas and spend the rest of the money on other mods in Jerry's store.

Thanks, but that wasnt the info I needed...I am not worried about any discounts, I want what works best..Not sure how far we are going to go with the mods on this thing. Right now all it has is a R&D intake grate but more stuff on order....

Go with the RE they perform better than the Riva Pro's, the plain blockoff's are a wast of time installing and it makes the handling worse than stock.

I have had my "plain blockoff's" for a couple days now. I like them a lot better than the OPAS ride. I will probably upgrade to the $300 set in the future, but my wallet told me to negotiate and settle for the $100 set. I am content for now.

Well, looks like I will make the suggestion to NOT install EITHER of the block offs from what I read in this thread and the other....Personally I dont see the advantage since the OPAS dont move up and down any more....

RE's is the best handling mod you can do to a RXP.
