Wierd problem. Lost RPM on ONE motor

    Hi,

    I have a wierd problem. I have upgraded my Speedster 200 with 215 HP x 2:

    - Riva super charger
    - New solar impellers

Everything was going OK. But i did not gain more than max 5 mph on the the supercharger / impeller.

I have today installed the riva intercooler x 2 (on each) motor. Took out the old standard one from sea-doo.

My problem is NOW: The boat have a better sound / acellerasion.

But it seems that ONLY one motor works. My RPM is only 6900 on of of the motors. On the other it is doing it best and stops on the limit.

What is wrong with one of my motors?

I lost RPM on ONE motor when i mounted both of the intercoolers...

    I hope for a soloution

    Regards

It sure sounds like a boost leak to me. Did you seal the intake manifolds when you removed the internal ICs? It could also be a boost leak on one or more of the SC to IC to TB hoses, or the attaching hardware. What kind of ICs did you install?... Ron

    Hi,

    i installed the Riva Intercooler.

    This two: http://www.4-tecperformance.com/inde...roducts_id=300

The funny thing is that the ONE motor sounds more groovy than the other. And i have felt with my hand that is does not leak...

Its really wierd, i have for only months ago got a new supercharger, so it could not be the cluth either..

What is the best way to do "failure" check without removing to much parts?

    Thanks
    Espen

The best way would be to have a boost guage on each engine to see what the actual boost is... Ron

Espen, you won't feel a boost leak with your hand. I can almost guarantee you have a boost leak. Check your plumbing carefully.
