it feels like grease its thick and sticky to. it doesnt feel like oil and i have fun 2 gallons of amsoil through the ski. its sort of a bluish/black hue to it though. i don't think oil would be that thick even after siting a while.but what the heck else could it be?

nnnnooooooo lol i took that off so i could see the carbs and check the oil lines. the air box when right back on when i was done.

i thought about the cracked or leaking exhaust but wouldn't i get a lot of water in the hull?

i could get some pics of the front of the motor if that will help you guys

    ??????????????

    Hey..

Worst still it could be a cracked/leaking crankcase..

I'd put it on the hose and run it..!!(to look for the problem)

    I really hope its neither..

    Hang on there Stingray..

It might not be any of the two suggestions i made..?

Leave the motor where it is for now..!

    What I'd do is...

Clean up the gunk that's in the hull..

Once its clean either run it in the water or on the hose..

While its running, see if you can't pinpoint the source..
