use a groco strainer from jerry's shop with whatever one you get.

    From what i've read/heard:
-riva is easiest install and solid mounting for ocean/racing, but more reported leaks over time.
-piranha and rotax mounting solid but the most pressure drop.
-xs takes up the most space and is heaviest but flows best..jfizzle offers a good kit..and is economical. I plan on throwing mine away every couple yrs if I see evidence of corrosion and need to and just replacing the IC from the kit.

Sorry but i respectfully disagree. The Rotax Racing is the absolute worst choice. Been there done that!

I'm speaking solely in the terms of performance. The Rotax Racing is the worst. Yes, it is better at holding up against salt water.

use an anode in the IC plumbing and any IC should hold up to saltwater with regular flushing
