    94 SL750 Carb removal help!

I went to remove the carbs on my 750 this weekend and all but 1 of the nuts came off as expected. The one seems to be seized and unfortunately I turned the socket on the nut before I realied I was stripping it and not loosening it. I don't seem to have room to get vice grips on it to try and break it loose.

My question is- has anyone come across this before and what did you do to get the frozen nut off? Is there anyway to get the intake manifold off with carb rack on so I can flip it over to work on it on the bench?

    Thanks!

More than likely not gonna happen with the carbs installed. You're going to have to pull the engine out with the carbs attached I believe.

I had the same problem with my carbs and the only way is to lift the engine out.
