Going to Rebuild my Carb :(
I have tried everything to avoid it, but I have nothing else to try. I have a couple of questions though.
-Where can I get a Carb Rebuild Kit? (I have tried West Mairne, 3 Local dealers, and Wal-Mart).
-How hard is Carb rebuild for someone that has never even took apart a carb? (is anyone kind enough to put together a walk through or know of an existing one?)
Also, would a 2003 Polaris Virage have 1 or 2 carbs?

Have you downloaded the 2003 Service manual?
Watcon.com has carb stuff, and knows a lot about them. Watcon (Randy) also has a rebuild service, you send the carb in, it comes back in perfect working order.
AtlanticPowersports.com also has the parts.

Could a rich mixture make the the engine bog down when you try to accelerate?
That is what my ski is doing. I'll hit the throttle and it won't go, then suddenly take off.
I thought it sounded like the carb after talking to some people on here, but my friend thinks that a rich mixture could cause this same problem...
