    15F R&D Ride Plate

I have a ride plate that I got from a member on here that was used in salt water. I just had my neighbor bead blast it for me. Can someone recommend whether or not I should paint it and what paint to use? It will not be used in salt water again. What color should I use?

Also, one side of the ride plate at the front seems to be different than the other. I will try to post a picture.

I am also thinking about selling this plate. I do have the reverse brackets.

I see what your talking about on the front being different, that looks like it would catch water or not mate up flush. The castings and finish on the R&D rideplates leaves alot to be desired. I have one and its pretty crappy too.

It looks as though the leading edge was filed down so it would be flush with the hull. In picture 3, it is the top front corner.

I would say filed down to as mine has a finished edge like that as well due to it mounting poorly to the hull. It needed alot of work to make it flush
