What blow off valve to use with stage 3 charger?

I am looking to install a BOV on my new XS intercooler/stage 3 charger setup. Anyone have any reccomendations? Although people say you dont need one I want it to have the peace of mind and save my charger from early failure. I saw an 3 X chargers done around 20-40 hours. I was looking at these but have no idea which one to buy http://www.siliconeintakes.com/index...9a9f2a3f668c56

Personally I am running a Greddy Type S BOV... Unfortunately discontinued. Otherwise I would go with the HKS BOV. http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=3261&rsku=6316

Shop around/check ebay you should be able to pick one up for a fair price.

You need to be able to trust a bov from not leaking... thats why they get such a bad wrap here, so make sure you get a known reliable one.

Yeah, after seeing those X chargers wasted I would like to have some peace of mind. You may not "need" one, but it should save the charger from having to be rebuilt so often.
The GReddy type RS which are for 100-400 HP, so I think that one should be sufficient. I have also seen the HKS being used.
Here is the type RS http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...9a9f2a3f668c56
and the type S you mentioned http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...9a9f2a3f668c56

This one comes with everything needed http://www.siliconeintakes.com/produ...9a9f2a3f668c56

Remember those are only Greddy immitations... Not that I have ever dealt with one personally but sometimes its worth paying for the name... Check out greddy and hks online, search around for some import parts stores/turbo stores and see what kinda price you can come up with. I run the type s, the type rs replaced it.

I've run the one included with the stage III kit for 60 hours without a peep of a leak.

sorry the newb question - how does the BOV help prevent SC rebuilds. just trying to learn here
I have rotax racing SC now and will be installing a RUDE in 2 weeks and if I can't increase the lifespan I would like to.

BOV(Blow Off Valve) works by relieving Air pressure from SC when off throttle..
