    Impellor cone?????

Have a 13/19 solas on my xlt and i was under it the other day just looking things over and noticed the cone that covers the nut had slipped forward on the shaft. ...Ive searched for if its better on or off but i am ?????about that...wondering some input if its common which i assume it is and what you guys do.

Don't worry about the cone. If it is the rubber one, just cut it off the driveshaft. You might actually see a slight top speed gain with it off.

No problem, It might just be easier and faster to take off the impeller/drive shaft?
