Timing chain broke.....help
I just broke my timing chain...does anyone know what parts do I need to fix it....while I'm at it I will also be changing piston rings...what parts do I need for that? Well, since I will be having the whole engine out...what else should I be replacing...any bearings....bolts?

Once you get your head off you will be able to tell how many valves you bent. Probably best to just replace the whole set with the Ferrea valves.
When you split the case halves to change the timing chain you can have a good look at the bearings. Chances are they are in good shape.
Inspect your oil pumps while it's apart.
This ski ever have a ceramic washer failure?

how many hours on it?
make sure none of the rocker arms cracked or broke
inspect all the valve guides, see how many, if any cracked
gasket kit ... or just get a head gasket and a pto gasket
if ur doing rings and pulling the pistons out, with all the money ur gonna spend rebuilding the motor, you might as well put new bearings everywhere for an extra 100 bucks
